Antenatal Clinics
The midwife can be contacted through us or on 01296 316120. The Doctors also undertake neonatal checks.

Child Health Immunisation
We follow the National Immunisation Guidelines and all recognised infant and child immunisations are undertaken at The Surgery. You will be sent an invitation to make an appointment when your child’s immunisation is due. Please remember to bring your red book with you as it might not be possible to immunise your child without it.
Chronic Disease Appointments
We will contact you when it is time, asking you to contact us to book your Chronic Disease review. Please complete and return any questionnaires that are sent to you. If a blood test is necessary this will be arranged roughly one week before your review.
On the day of your virtual appointment our Chronic disease nurse will send you an invitation to join, approximately 15 minutes before the start time. If you are unable to join, or you do not have a device allowing you to do this, you will receive a normal telephone call.
District Nurses
The District Nurses liaise directly with the surgery and provide nursing care at home seven days a week for the housebound. They can be contacted through the surgery or 01296 711307.
Family Planning Services
All contraceptive services are provided by the surgery including implanon implants, diaphragm and coil fittings. We can also provide Emergency Contraception.
General Nursing
Our Nursing team run general clinics daily for a wide range of things such as change of dressings of stitch removal, blood pressure checks, vaccinations for children and also for holidays, ECGs, blood tests, diabetes management and more.
General Surgery
Our GPs run the general face to face consultations daily, between 9am and 1pm and then again between 2pm and 6pm. We also offer late evening appointments some Thursdays between 6:30pm and 8:30pm and some Saturdays between 8am and 1pm.

Healthy Start
If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk. If you’re eligible, you’ll be sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that you can use in some UK shops. The benefit will then be added to your card every 4 weeks. Maternity
Your local midwives team attend the practice to run a clinic for you to have your blood pressure checked and make sure all is going smoothly during your pregnancy.

NHS Health Check
The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40 to 74. It’s designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia. As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. An NHS Health Check helps find ways to lower this risk.

If you’re planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world. Please allow at least 6-8 weeks before your’e due to travel. The NHS website gives further information.
Well Person, Specific Health Checks and Minor Surgery & Injection Clinics
These clinics are designed to manage a number of clinical conditions such as Heart Disease, Diabetes, Asthma, C.O.P.D. and Women’s Health. Please ask at reception for further information or to make an appointment.
