Appointments

The surgery reception  phones are staffed from 8.00am until 1.00pm and 14:00pm until 6.30pm.

Please be reminded to telephone AFTER 11am for all routine enquiries, test results, and repeat prescriptions for the housebound.

Each appointment with a GP is for 10 minutes. If you have more than one problem then it may not be possible to deal with it on a single appointment. It may be necessary for you to re-book for another time.

If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know so that we may reallocate it to another patient.

Appointments for blood tests can be made with the Health Care Assistant.

It is often helpful to know a little about why you wish to see the doctor or nurse; the reception staff are conversant with the need for confidentiality. However, if you would rather not say so, if asked, simply state that it is “in confidence”.
