Who do I see?
Booking Appointments
To book an appointment:
- Use the NHS app complete our online triage form
- Request an appointment complete our online triage form
Alternatively, you can call us on 01296 711150, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
You can also visit one of our surgeries and speak to a receptionist during the same hours, and they will be happy to help you complete the online triage form on your behalf.
We will ask you what you need help with.
The surgery will be in touch to offer you either a telephone/video consultation or a face-to-face appointment, depending on what is most suitable.
- Pharmacy Services
Nowadays, most pharmacists will be able to help you with seven common conditions without you having to see a GP first: sinusitis, a sore throat, earache, an infected insect bite, impetigo, shingles, or a urinary infection.
They can also suggest medication that you can purchase without a prescription.
Find a Local PharmacyMost pharmacies are open to late hours and on weekends; you do not need an appointment. They have private rooms for you to discuss anything of concern with the pharmacy staff.
Saturday GP/Nurse/HCA Appointments
These are pre-bookable face to face appointments at our Whitchurch Surgery between the hours of 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Cancelling your appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- Use the NHS app
- Reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

Home Visits
Please indicate on the online triage form if you are housebound. If you require a home visit, please contact the practice as soon after 8:00 am as possible to make your request.
