Travel Vaccine

3W Health continue to offer all NHS travel vaccines, which are Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Tetanus (triple vaccine).  We can also offer Cholera vaccine under a prescription charge and Malaria Prophylaxis treatment under a private prescription.  We are no longer able to provide private travel vaccines, however we will advise if you should consider specific ones before your travel.

There are local travel centres you can contact to arrange private vaccinations, many of the larger pharmacies provide this service.  We continue to provide travel health advice as per the recommendations from the World Health Organisation and the National Health Service.

If you require a travel health consultation, please complete the form and a travel health nurse will assess your completed responses and will contact you with further advice depending on your requirements.  A nurse will assess the completed form and you will be contacted and advised if you need a face-to-face appointment or a telephone call.

It will give you comprehensive details regarding vaccinations you might need and malaria prophylaxis. Please spend a little time on research prior to your appointment with our practice nurse. It is imperative to discuss your vaccination schedule with the practice nurse because some vaccinations can be contra indicated due to certain medication / age etc

You can view your vaccination history through the patient app facility on your phone.

Remember book with the nurse BEFORE you book with the travel agent!!

PLEASE NOTE it is important that you complete a travel questionnaire form at least 6 weeks before you travel – this enables the practice nurse to check the immunisations you require.

If we are unable to offer an appointment before your holiday date, please consider using a local travel clinic, available at most pharmacies.
