We are always looking for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the care we provide. As part of this, our clinicians are now using an artificial intelligence transcription tool called Accurx Scribe.
Accurx Scribe helps clinicians by converting spoken consultation notes into written text securely and accurately. This means clinicians can spend more time focusing on you during your appointment, rather than typing up notes afterwards.
How it works
During your consultation, the clinician may use Accurx Scribe to record key parts of the conversation. The software then creates a written summary of the discussion, which the clinician reviews and approves before it is added to your medical record.
Your privacy and data security
Your privacy is extremely important to us. Please be assured that:
- No recordings are stored once the notes have been transcribed.
- The software is fully compliant with NHS data protection standards.
