DIRECTORY OF COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SERVICES – OCTOBER 2026

North Buckinghamshire

We recognise that accessing transport can be challenging for patients living in rural areas of North Buckinghamshire, particularly those without access to private transport. Public transport services are often limited and may not align with appointment times.

To help address this, a range of community and voluntary transport services are available across the area, offering support based on patients’ individual needs.

Some services provide transport to and from hospitals, while others also offer journeys to GP surgeries. Certain services are free of charge, whilst others operate on a mileage-based charging system.

The NHS North Bucks Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) has researched and compiled a directory of available transport providers. Whilst every effort has been made to identify local services, there may be additional voluntary organisations not yet included.
