Using the NHS app to book an appointment

Starting from Monday 11th September 2023, you can use the NHS app to book a non-urgent appointment with a GP at our surgery. If you require an urgent appointment please call the surgery in the usual way. For urgent medical advice please call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk

Each appointment will be 10 minutes long, so if you have more than one item to discuss, please book one consultation per problem.

Before you make an appointment with your GP surgery, think about what other services might be able to help.

• Go to a pharmacy for advice and treatment for minor conditions that do not need a prescription. Read about how your pharmacy can help
• Call NHS 111 if you have an urgent medical problem, but you’re not sure what to do.
• Visit 111.nhs.uk for urgent medical advice for people aged 5 and over only.
• Visit a sexual health clinic for testing for sexually transmitted infections and contraception advice.

You do not have to make an appointment or register for these services.
